Accessibility Services
The Main Cinema currently offers several accessibility services to patrons, and is currently working to make its facility accessible to all. For questions or if you need assistance, please call 612-395-4444, or email at info@mspfilm.org.
Parking: Wheelchair accessible parking is available in the St. Anthony Falls Ramp, one block from the theater (on 2nd Ave. SE, between University Ave. and 2nd St. SE). Tunnel access to the theater is available from the parking ramp. There is also metered street parking directly across from the theater.
Restrooms: Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available on the first floor adjacent to The Main Cinema, to the left when exiting the theater into the adjoining indoor space, and just past Pracna.
Assistive Devices:
- Easily view subtitles in your seat with our closed-captioning devices. Available upon request for most films – just ask the box office!
- We are happy to offer listening devices, which play any film’s audio over headphones. Available upon request for all films – just ask the box office!
Wheelchair Seating: Wheelchair seating is available for between 3 to 4 people in each theater.

Elevator:Theaters 1 & 2 are on main floor, and Theaters 3/4/5 require the elevator. The Main Theatre staff will be available at all times to assist with this process.
Additional Accessibility:
Subtitles: All foreign-language films are presented with English subtitles.
Admission: We regularly offer free or reduced-price tickets and custom deals for special events designed to draw newer and underserved populations to our programs, and for families and students at schools and universities.
