Japanese didgeridoo player Goma had a thriving career and an international following when he was hit from behind by a car in 2009 and suffered traumatic brain injuries which seriously impaired his medium- and short-term memory and affected his emotional responses. He slowly trained himself to play again and psyched himself to resume public performances.
