Comedy mixes seamlessly with an eerie edge of suspense in this well-made thriller that's full of twists and turns. A hapless screenwriter hoping to finish his current project arranges a retreat to an empty rural bed and breakfast owned by his producer. His isolation is interrupted by a rowdy group of young skiers begging to stay in one of the empty cabins and a couple of menacing local hunters who seem to be lurking around at strange times. Things go from odd to sinister in a gradual but methodical slow-burn drama that keeps you guessing.
