Ricky is a 13-year-old boy with autism who lives with his mother, Mariana, and sister, Carla, on Rockaway Beach, Queens. One day when Ricky is forced to walk home from school alone, he is lured by a vision of a dragon on a carefree, multi-day meander on the subway. Meanwhile, superstorm Sandy is closing in and Mariana is beside herself trying to find Ricky. A tale of parallel self-discovery, Sam Fleischner's second feature captures an in-the-moment verisimilitude with both his characters and the city.
