The 70th anniversary of the birth of “El Santo”, one of the great legends of Mexican sports, film and culture, and the wrestling debut of his son, mark the beginning of "El Hijo del Santo", who takes us into the story, a legacy beyond the ring. Through personal memories and records, he shows us his childhood with a father who had a double identity, and who was always absent from the home; and also, the discovery of the hero at home, and his motive for wanting to continue this legacy.

El 70 aniversario del nacimiento del “Santo”, una de las grandes leyendas del deporte, el cine y la cultura mexicanos, y el debut de su hijo como luchador, marcan el punto de partida para que "El Hijo del Santo" nos permita entrar en su historia, en el legado mas allá del ring. A través de recuerdos y documentos personales, él nos muestra su infancia con un padre con doble identidad, siempre ausente en su hogar; y también al descubrimiento del héroe en casa, y los motivos para querer continuar con su legado.
