Mari Pepa is a punk rock band consisting of four 16 year-old Guadalajara friends. The band only has one song in their repertoire. When they realize they need two songs in order to enter a punk rock contest, they compose a second song, but it sounds exactly like the first one with different lyrics. One by one, each member of Mari Pepa drops out of the band, leaving the leader Alex to contemplate his future as a rock star. Morelia Film Festival, AFI Fest, Berlin International Film Festival.
