FRIDAY AUGUST 12
One of the fastest rising stars in Minnesota's music scene, Nur-D burst onto the stage in 2018 and has been making headlines ever since. Nur-D is a breath of fresh air in the Hip Hop world and fans are feeling the same. Imagine the soulful sounds of Bruno Mars or Childish Gambino, The powerful energy of Lizzo, the pop culture punchlines of an episode of "Community", all rolled up into a show that everyone can enjoy.
Jamie Foxx stars in this Oscar-winning film about the legendary rhythm and blues musician Ray Charles, from his humble beginnings in the South, where he went blind at age seven, to his meteoric rise to stardom during the 1950s and 1960s.
FRIDAY AUGUST 19
Best known for fronting the band Tina and the B-Sides, Tina Schlieske is a Midwestern born and raised, West Coast-based artist who has been paving her own way in music for nearly three decades. She has fronted many diverse bands, from the wildly popular Americana-Rock band, Tina and the B-Sides, to various side projects that range from rock, classic R&B, and more recently, the genres of punk, and jazz. She continues to cross boundaries and genres with her music and her live performances.

Diana Ross stars as Harlem schoolteacher Dorothy, who is miraculously whisked away to an urban fantasy land called Oz in this delightful 1978 reimagining of "The Wizard of Oz," which also stars Michael Jackson as the Scarecrow and Richard Pryor as The Wiz.
FRIDAY AUGUST 26
Turn Turn Turn
Turn Turn Turn is a trio who bonded over their mutual love of close harmony 60s and 70s country, folk, and pop music and formed an original Americana band. Members Adam Levy (guitar, vocals), Savannah Smith (guitar, vocals) and Barb Brynstad (bass, vocals) are all mainstays of the Minnesota music scene and together craft an infectious, pop-infused Americana. To create their distinctive sound, the band “turns” to the distant past of early American recorded music, “turns” again to that renaissance of the 1960s and 1970s, and finally “turns” again to the present looking forward.
Directed by Minnesota's own Pete Docter, SOUL tells the story a middle-school band teacher whose life hasn't quite gone the way he expected. His true passion is jazz -- and he's good. But when he travels to another realm to help someone find their passion, he soon discovers what it means to have soul.
