Consider including the MSP Film Society in your estate plan and become a part of our legacy. Planning your gift is straightforward, and here’s how:
- Residuary Bequest: You can designate a percentage (e.g., “_____% of my estate”) to ensure your contribution remains proportional to your estate’s value.
- Specific Bequest: Alternatively, you can specify a fixed dollar amount (e.g., “The sum of $________”) for your gift.
By choosing a residuary bequest, your generosity adapts with your estate, eliminating the need for frequent will updates. We recommend using the following language for your bequest:
“I give to MSP Film Society, EIN 41-1802905, a Minneapolis, Minnesota nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, [a percent of my residuary estate] or [the sum of $___] to be used for [its general purposes] or [endowment].”
