The 14th Annual Cine Latino Film Festival returns to The Main Cinema from October 7 – 11, with five days and nights of film screenings, fiestas, flamenco dancing, food trucks, visiting filmmakers, family activities, and more!
OPENING NIGHT FILM

Screening: Wednesday, October 7 at 7:30pm • Opening Night Party: 5:30 PM
From Cannes-winning directors Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi — known together as Los Javis — LA BOLA NEGRA follows three generations of men across pivotal moments in Spanish history, bound by pain, desire, and love. Carlos (Milo Quifes) longs to belong in a fractured Spain. Sebastián (Guitarricadelafuente) finds connection across enemy lines. And Alberto (Carlos González) uncovers a long-buried family secret — one that finally gives voice to truths the past tried to erase. Co-written by
Calvo, Ambrossi, and Alberto Conejero, and adapted from Conejero’s play La Piedra Oscura, and La bola negra and other texts by Federico García Lorca. The film also stars Miguel Bernardeau (Rafael), Goya winner Lola Dueñas (Teresa), Academy Award winner Penélope Cruz (Nené), Golden Globe winner Glenn Close (Isabelle), and Emmy-nominated Julio Torres (Juan Pablo).
The screening will be preceded by the Cine Latino Opening Night Party,

CLOSING NIGHT FILM:

Screening: Sunday, October 11 at 7:30pm • Closing Night Party: 5:30 PM
A hilarious Brazilian film starring Academy Award Nominee Fernanda Montenegro (Central Station) and Ary Fontoura as an elderly couple who teams up with young partners to plan a bank heist. The film, which recently won the Prêmio Grande Otelo – Brazil’s Academy Award – for Best Comedy Feature Film, was Directed by Claudio Torres, who is also the son of Fernanda Montenegro.
The screening will be preceded by the Cine Latino Closing Night Party.
