Metered street parking along Main Street from 6am to Midnight daily.
Metered street parking along University Ave SE, 2nd Street SE, and 2nd Ave SE from 8am to 10pm daily.
Free street parking can be found further east on University Ave and on various side streets within several blocks of the cinema

MTC #4 Bus: stops at Hennepin Ave E & Wilder Street.

- Wheelchair seating is available for between 3 to 4 people in each theater.
- An elevator is located just outside the Box Office and past Pracna to access Theaters 3, 4, and 5 on the second floor. Theaters 1 and 2 are located on the first floor.
- Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the first floor just outside the Box Office and past Pracna.
- The Main Cinema staff is available at all times to assist.
Subtitles
All foreign-language films are presented with English subtitles.

Assistive Devices
We offer multiple options of assistive features. To request devices and confirm availability, check with the box office.

Closed Captioning available. Our devices rest in your cupholder and display the captions on a small screen.
Reduced Admission
We regularly offer free or reduced-price tickets and partner deals for special events in effort to draw newer and underserved populations to our programs.
Discounts for children, students, and young adults are also available for most screenings.
And of course our $5 Tuesdays apply to most tickets at The Main Cinema!

Many hotels are located just across the river from The Main Cinema, including:
Renaissance at The Depot, Aloft, The Moxy, and Canopy. The Nicollet Island Inn is located one block west of The Main Cinema.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When are you open?
With rare exceptions, The Main Cinema is open to the public every day of the year. Our Box Office opens 30 minutes before the first scheduled showtime of the day and closes 20 minutes after the last scheduled showtime of the day.
Can I buy tickets in person?
Yes, tickets for any current or future scheduled showtime can be purchased at our Box Office. Tickets are also available for purchase online, and MSP Film Society Members do not pay an online service charge.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit/debit card, and Apple/Google Pay.
How long are your trailers?
We typically run around 10 minutes of trailers for every show, beginning at the advertised start time.
