Yanagida is a samurai, who embodies the ronin spirit. Disgraced over a false accusation of theft, he lives a simple life in exile with his adult daughter, Kinu. But when an opportunity for revenge reveals itself, will Yanagida jump at the chance at the risk of his life, and his daughter’s?

One of the area's greatest Go players, Yanagida is known for his unwavering honesty, a man fully committed to the samurai code of integrity. Falsely blamed for stealing a painting, he embraces his simple life of exile, carving seals and barely making ends meet. But during a friendly game of Go, 50 ryo goes missing, and Yanagida once again falsely accused. With little left to lose, Yanagida decides to find justice with his blade. When swords are drawn, all hell breaks loose in director Kazuya Shiraishi’s gorgeous samurai epic.
