ABOUT THE FILM

Little Woods is a tense modern Western drama about two estranged sisters in a struggling North Dakota oil boomtown who face foreclosure, limited healthcare access, and personal crises. With only a week to save their late mother’s home, they must decide whether to risk returning to illegal cross-border prescription smuggling. Praised for Tessa Thompson’s standout performance and Nia DaCosta’s assured debut, critics call it a gritty, heartfelt, and worthwhile watch.
