Recognized for his groundbreaking visual styles and enduring collaborations with some of Hollywood’s most influential directors, including John Carpenter (Halloween, Escape from New York, Big Trouble In Little China), Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit), Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park, Hook), and Ron Howard (Apollo 13), Mr. Cundey’s remarkable contributions to the art of cinematography over his decades-spanning career have been recognized by numerous industry awards, including an Academy Award and a BAFTA Nomination for Who Framed Roger Rabbit, BAFTA Nominations for Apollo 13 and Hook, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society of Cinematographers.
