Masochistic, relentless, and boundary-pushing: these are just a few ways to describe ultra running. But while the sport tests the limits of the human spirit, women still make up only 30% of the field. FIRE follows a group of women as they bridge that gap, tackling their first ultra-distance race through a groundbreaking program at the Fire Tower Races in Northern Minnesota. Created by two race directors and a coach to redefine the finish line, this is a story of what happens when women are given the tools to Believe.
