North American Premiere

A community of children living in the Krkonoše Mountains discovers a downed French pilot in the snow, barely alive. Despite the daily invasions of their villages and homes, the kids hatch a daring plan to courageously outwit the Nazis and deliver the pilot to safety. Based on real events at the end of the German occupation, this suspenseful family film highlights the heroism of neighbors coordinating care and resistance together. –Deb Girdwood
