Children’s books are some of the most influential reading we will do in our lives, but until now, no documentary has delved into this wonderful subject. Story & PIctures By follows three great picture book creators whose experimental work is changing the world.

Director Joanna Rudnick follows Christian Robinson, Yuyi Morales, and Mac Barnett, three of the most acclaimed children’s book authors and illustrators in this “golden age” of literature, a time when, finally, diverse and complex tales are being shared with kids.
