The Girl in the Snow
The Girl in the Snow
In an Alpine hamlet on the France Italian border in 1899, Aimée arrives as a new teacher, and she’s hungry to bring the children up-to-date and rid them of superstition. A romantic encounter with a young man from the village leads to a tragedy that threatens her place in the community. Winner of the Prix Jean Vigo prize, The Girl in the Snow is the directorial debut of French video artist and stage director Louise Hemon carries you away to an unexpected crossroad between magical realism, nature mysticism and old folklore.
