To Hold A Mountain
To Hold A Mountain
In the remote highlands of Montenegro, a shepherd mother and teenage daughter spend their lives peacefully carrying out their daily duties. Despite this utterly hardscrabble life, they summon up their strength and courage to rally their neighbors and resist NATO’s attempts to turn their ancestral homeland into a military training ground. Biljana Tutorov and Petar Glomazic’s stunning documentary captures, with loving detail, the intense hardships these women face every day, and the bravery of a fight to preserve their livelihood. Sundance Grand Jury Prize for World Cinema Documentary.
