What is MSPIFF?
MSPIFF (pronounced EM-spiff) is the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival, one of the largest and longest running film festivals in North America. MSPIFF showcases hundreds of international, independent, and documentary films and hosts scores of filmmakers and artists at the annual event each spring.
WHAT DOES “TICKETS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE” and “RUSh ONLY” MEAN?
Reservations for the screening are full. BUT! You can join the Rush Line. A Rush Line forms when advance tickets are no longer available for a film screening. Rush tickets may become available on a first-come, first-served basis as space allows.
What are the 2024 MSPIFF dates?
The 43rd Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival, aka MSPIFF43, runs April 11-25, 2024.
When do Passes and Tickets go on sale for MSPIFF43?
All-Access Passes and 6 Packs are on sale now! Tickets will go on sale approximately one month before the festival launches, which is also when the MSPIFF43 schedule goes live on MSPfilm.org.
Do MSP Film Society Members get discounts and other perks?
YES! MSP Film Society Members not only get deep discounts on All-Access Passes, 6 Packs, and individual tickets to MSPIFF. Members also get to reserve tickets in advance of the general public and Members never pay online reservations fees.
Where DO MSPIFF films screen?
The MSPIFF primary venue is The Main Cinema, where screenings take place on all five screens throughout the run of the festival. MSPIFF films screen at venues around the Twin Cities, including the Capri Theater in North Minneapolis and the Landmark Center in St. Paul. For over 25 years the Rochester International Film Festival has been an official venue of MSPIFF. Rochester screenings take place at Pop’s Art Theater.
Where is the MSPIFF Info Office?
The MSPIFF Info Office is located in Pracna, adjacent to The Main Cinema Box Office.
WHAT is THE MSPIFF PRACNA BAR?
The MSPIFF Pranca bar is open daily during the festival serving Pryes beer, Art & Rev premium canned cocktails, wine, THC beverages, soda, water, and ginger beer. International Gourmet will be offering sandwiches and snacks for purchase. Pracna is the location of official festival receptions and social hours.
When will the MSPIFF43 Lineup be announced?

Will the MSPIFF films have subtitles?
All non-English language films are presented with English subtitles.
Are you accepting submissions for the 2024 Festival?
Submissions for MSPIFF43 are now closed. Submissions for MSPIFF44 will open in September 2024. Follow us on FilmFreeway for more information.
