Due to distributor/filmmaker restrictions, access to MSPIFF39 Redefined is geo-restricted to viewers in Minnesota. Your credit card must have a Minnesota billing address in order for your MSPIFF39 Redefined order to be processed.

You can purchase tickets for and watch MSPIFF39 Redefined films from Friday, May 15 at 11:00 AM through 11:59 PM on Saturday, May 23.

MSPIFF39 Redefined films are available to the general public at $10 per film. Any viewer can become a MSP Film Society member at any level today to access the $5 member rate.

Most films will be available for the entire duration of the festival, however select titles will have scheduled screenings or a smaller window of availability.

Like seats in a theater at the Film Festival, all films are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Every film is limited to a maximum number of views or “seats” due to distributor/filmmaker restrictions.

Ways of Being Home explores the immigrant experience from the perspective of the Mexican community living in Northfield, a college town in southern Minnesota. Most members of this immigrant community, about 70% or more, trace their roots back to Maltrata, a small agricultural municipality nestled in the mountains of the state of Veracruz.
